InstagramWe received a call about a hit-and-run incident on the nearby main road, where we found Kerpatti crumpled and bleeding, unable to walk. Suspecting fractures, we carefully placed her on a board and transported her to the veterinary college. Amid her fear and growls of pain, we saw a pair of curious, gentle eyes gazing at us. Suffering from a fractured shin, ugly wounds, and, as we found out later, tick fever and severe anaemia, she required extensive care and surgery.
